Victory Christian Center will be offering an eight week training course based on the award-winning TV series “The Way of the Master” hosted by Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort. The course is specially formatted to train believers to simply and confidently share the gospel with family, friends, and strangers. These lessons will teach you to overcome your fears by using a proven, powerfully effective way to make the gospel make sense. You won’t be at a loss for words. You don’t need to be an expert in apologetics. Instead, you’ll learn the forgotten biblical principle of bypassing the intellect (the place of argument) and speaking directly to the conscience (the place of the knowledge of right and wrong) — the way Jesus did.
Each session will consist of a thirty-minute segment on DVD featuring Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort. Through their captivating teaching style they not only tell you how to witness, they show you, through fascinating on-the-street conversations with gang members, atheists, cult members, intellectuals, etc. Classes start April 27th on Sunday Mornings at 9:30am in the Prayer Room by the Coitsville Campus auditorium.

The summer of 2007 was incredibly difficult for a local family who lost their son and daughter-in-law in a tragic car accident. Today Grandma and Grandpa find themselves raising the three small children left behind and wonder why God would allow something like this to happen to their family.
I seemed to get a bit more rejection today. Maybe it was the colder weather. But I had some great conversations with two people by the name of William and Tamisha.
Alcoholics sometimes suffer *DT’s (Delirium Tremens) as a result of alcohol withdrawal. The DT’s cause severe shaking, profuse sweating and paranoia and produce frightening hallucinations. As I went downtown today I suffered the Christian version of the DT’s (Discouraging Thoughts). They sometimes begin as soon as you think about sharing your faith with someone. You get the sweats, the shakes, paranoia and have hallucinations of frightening things to come. I suffer the DT’s less and less but when I do I’ve learned to just ignore them and thank God that
Hello everyone! Here’s another update from the streets. I hope you enjoy it but even more I hope it convicts us all to do more to reach out to those who are destined to an eternity without God if we don’t Do Something!
So Bob built a cross and we had our first run with it Saturday, November 17. We walked two and a half miles down Parkman Road in Warren. One of the things we were counting on was that people would come to us instead of us having to chase people down to witness to them and that’s exactly what happened! We had a few people pull over and we got to give them Gospel tracts. We walked through the parking lot of McDonald’s and some employees yelled across the parking lot to us and asked if we were starting a Church. Bob ran over and gave them some tracts. At one point we connected with a guy by the name of Tom who is 70+ years old and is really on fire for God. It was about 40 degrees and it was raining and without hesitation he came out of his warm house with us and carried the cross for a while.
